Bid Sales

Our Sealed Bid Sales consist of equipment surplus to the current needs of our clients. To find out what type of items that will be available for bid, please take a look at our current Current Sealed Bid Sale.

Rules & Guidelines

Bids:
Bids must be received on the original bid form (or copy) by the Time posted as each sale's bid deadline. Bids may be hand delivered to any sale site or mailed to the Exton office. Bid Packages are posted and made available for 'download', on this website; The Surplus Asset Sales Company website (http://www.sas.net/). Bid packages are generally posted on this website several days prior to the advertised first day of inspection for each Bid Sale. Bid Packages can be downloaded from this website (http://www.sas.net/), Bid packages may also be requested from Surplus Asset Sales Co. via overnight courier by providing a FedEx or UPS account number (at customer's expense). Bid Packages cannot be sent via fax to customer. Please call 610-486-0833 to request an overnight bid package.

Terms:
There will be a 12% Buyer's Fee charged on all items sold. Cash or certified funds made payable to Surplus Asset Sales Co. in full no later than 3:00 pm EST three business days after the notification date, but prior to pickup of any material. All items are sold "as is - where is" in their existing conditions with no guarantees or warrantees expressed or implied. Information regarding sale items was obtained from reliable sources, however accuracy cannot be guaranteed. All Descriptions are merely physical observations and are not guaranteed. It is strongly recommended that all prospective bidders physically inspect the items offered and draw their own educated conclusions before bidding. Sellers reserve the discretionary right to reject any or all bids. All necessary terms and conditions forms required by SAS must be signed in order for bids to be accepted. All advertised items are subject to prior disposition.

Inspection:
Sale items may be inspected as a general rule, for two and a half days prior to the bid-due deadline. This however is subject to the dates set forth in each individual sale.

Notification:
Awards to the successful bidders should be made by telephone or fax by the end of the second day after the bid deadline date. This is a general rule and is subject to the dates set forth for each individual bid sale.

Loading:
Upon complete payment, purchases may be removed weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST beginning on the notification date and on a 'first come, first serve' basis. All items MUST be removed by 4:00 PM EST of the fourth business day following the advertised 'notification to successful bidders' date. Any material not removed by the advertised removal deadline will be considered abandoned and disposed of as SAS sees fit.

Cash & Carry Sales

Hours: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Cash and Carry sales are conducted on the first Saturday of every month unless a holiday falls on or around this weekend. The sales consist of office furniture, computers and computer related equipment, copiers and general office supplies surplus to the current needs of our clients. All items are pre-priced and are non-negotiable. All sales are final. Every article is sold on a "first come - first served" basis in it's existing condition with no guarantees expressed or implied. All items must be paid for and removed by 12:00 PM on the sale day. The terms are cash, certified funds or credit cards. No checks will be accepted. **NOTE: If the first Saturday of the month is a holiday, the Cash & Carry Sale will be held on the second Saturday of the month. Due to sale preparations, the Computer Show Room will be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays and there will be no inspection or sales the entire week prior to a Cash & Carry Sale.

Our computer showroom is open for sales on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Weekday bulk furniture sales can also be arranged by appointment only. Please note, the computer showroom and warehouse are closed five days prior to a Cash and Carry Sale. Please refer to the calendar for upcoming Sale dates.
